ERIE, Pa. - West Chester University's men's soccer team suffered a 6-1 setback to Millersville in the semifinals of the 2016 PSAC Semifinals Friday afternoon on the campus of Mercyhurst University.
West Chester (11-4-3) will now wait until Sunday night to see if the Golden Rams will be making their first trip to the NCAA Tournament since 2002. Millersville (12-5-2) advances to the championship game of the PSAC Tournament on Sunday afternoon.
The Marauders scored six unanswered goals in the second half, three of them in the final five minutes, as West Chester pushed everybody up to try to cut into what was a 3-1 deficit at the time.
Colin Hester (Camp Hill, Pa./Camp Hill) scored off an assist from
Brett Glasco (West Chester, Pa./Rustin) in the 22nd minute to put West Chester on top 1-0 initially. That's the way things stood at halftime as well.
James Wood (West Chester, Pa./Henderson) made five saves in goal for the Golden Rams.

Giovanny Mowrey (Bethlehem, Pa./Notre Dame Green Pond) was awarded the PSAC Champion Scholar Award for having the highest grade-point average among the players representing the four teams at the site of the conference finals.
