Andrew Cohen (Holland, Pa./Council Rock South) added another postseason accolade to his trophy case being named to the second team D2Football.com All-America team.
Cohen, already an All-America selection at defensive end by numerous organizations and publications, broke the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) all-time sacks record with 33.5. He registered 13.5 sacks this past fall to go along with 20 tackles for a loss. He finished second on the team with 57 tackles and was credited with 10 QB hurries. He was a finalist for both the Gene Upshaw Award and the Cliff Harris Award as well. Cohen is making his second appearance on the
Don Hansen FB Gazette All Super Region 1 team, following his selection to the third team last fall (2014). Cohen was recently named the PSAC defensive player of the year while taking home first team plaudits. He was also a first team All-ECAC selection as well. The Holland, Pa., native was also named second team Little AP All-America in late December. Cohen appeared on the D2CCA All Super Region 1 first team and the
Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area squad.
