WEST CHESTER, Pa. – West Chester University and SPORTSfever Television announced Thursday an agreement to air four Golden Rams football games this upcoming fall season.

Three home games and one road contest will be broadcast live by the Pennsylvania-based television production team. The Golden Rams' season opener at home on Thursday, Sept. 3 at 6 p.m. against Lenoir-Rhyne will kick off the television package. That game features a pair of preseason nationally ranked programs, who last collided in the 2013 NCAA semifinals.

West Chester's next televised football game will be at Mercyhurst on Sept. 12 at 12 p.m. in Erie, Pa.

Homecoming's showdown with defending PSAC champion, Bloomsburg, on Oct. 24 at John A. Farrell Stadium at 2 p.m. is the third game slated for television coverage while the Golden Rams' PSAC East clash with East Stroudsburg on Nov. 7 at 1 p.m. is the fourth and final regular-season televised broadcast.

Now in its ninth year televising the PSAC Football Game of the Week (82 games), STN's national sports TV network quality, high-definition production measures up to the high national sports network industry standards of ESPN, Comcast Sports Net/NBC Universal/Comcast Network, Fox Sports, Root Sports, American Sports Network (Sinclair Broadcasting), Tribune Broadcasting and Nextar Broadcasting.

The organization projects an estimated 10.2 percent increase for TV households reached and viewership for 2015, meaning 15.3 million (not including ESPN3) households, up from 14.4 million in 2014, will be able to watch PSAC football this fall. ESPN3 averaged 22,736 viewers per game in 2014. Regionally, telecasts are aired live and on replay/delay throughout the Mid-Atlantic states, West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky.
