GREENSBURG, Pa. - Marina Sharkey (Newtown Square, Pa./Archbishop Carroll) posted 12 kills and
Julia O'Brien (New Holland, Pa./Garden Spot) added 11 kills, but West Chester's women's volleyball team saw its season come to a close with a 3-1 loss to California, Pa., in the PSAC Semifinals hosted by Seton Hill University Saturday afternoon.
West Chester (21-14) dropped the match by scores of 25-20, 23-25, 25-15 and 25-18. Cal (27-8) advances to the PSAC Championship Game, which will be played Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. That game can be seen on PCN TV.
Annalee Halbert (Port Murray, N.J./West Morris Central) dished out 35 assists while
Lyndsey Iacobelli (Allentown, Pa./Parkland) registered 25 digs. Halbert finished off a double-double with 11 digs as well. She was also in on four blocks.
