2013 All-PSAC Tennis Squad
LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Senior Alexandra Santoro and freshman Nicole Nardi were each selected to the 2013 All-PSAC East Women's Tennis team it was announced recently by the conference. Both players are making their first appearance on the all-league team.
Santoro and Nardi teamed up in doubles this season to go 11-5 overall and 3-1 in PSAC matches. The duo was 7-2 at second doubles and 4-3 at third doubles while winning 7 of their last 10 matches. Santoro and Nardi did team with others briefly during the season, but neither enjoyed the success they produced together. As a result, West Chester finished the year 14-9 overall, 5-1 in the PSAC and 10-6 in the region.
Santoro was also selected all-league in singles play. She finished 15-7 overall and went undefeated (5-0) against PSAC competition. Santoro won 9 of her last 10 matches on the season as well. She was 15-6 at third singles and 0-1 at fourth singles. In her four-year career, Santoro authored a 41-25 record overall and 14-3 against PSAC competition.
