Rondell White, who set West Chester University records for rushing yards and touchdowns in a single season on Saturday, was named first team All-PSAC East announced by the league on Tuesday.
White was not alone, his entire offensive line, and a total of 14 Golden Rams were named to the All-PSAC East first or second teams. West Chester tied with Shippensburg for the most positions earning all-league status in the east with 14.
Sr., RB Franklyn Quiteh, from conference champion Bloomsburg, was voted the Offensive Athlete of the Year, Sr., DE Jake Metz of Shippensburg was the Defensive Athlete of the Year, and Paul Darragh of Bloomsburg was voted as the coach of the year in the PSAC-East.

Rondell White has 1,626 rushing yards on the year and 19 rushing touchdowns this season, breaking the old record of 18, which had stood since 1967. Overall, White moved into second place on the school's all-time rushing charts with 3,973 career yards. He is 35 yards shy of the all-time record of 4,008 by Derrick Price (1987-90). White led the team with 56 receptions for 660 yards It's the second year in a row he has been on the All-PSAC first-team. The senior from West Chester led the PSAC in all-purpose yards with over 2,500, is second in rushing and led all running backs in receptions and receiving yards.
Joining White on the first team is three of the men that open the holes up front. Sr.'s, Justin Bathurst at left tackle, Trey Farmer the left guard, who was on the second team second a year ago, and junior center Derek Schatz earned first-team all-league selections. Farmer has been nominated for the Gene Upshaw award handed out to the top senior lineman in Division II. The winner of the award is guaranteed a spot in the East-West Shrine game in St. Petersburg, Fl. on January 18
th, featuring the top seniors in the nation in all divisions.
The Golden Rams gave up the fewest sacks in the conference with nine, and were third in the league in scoring at 40.4 a game and were fourth in the league in both rushing and passing.
Jr., LB Ronell Williams
, returns as a member of the first-team. The junior led the Golden Rams with 80 tackles, 7.5 behind the line of scrimmage, including 3.5 sacks with 2 interceptions, and a fumble recovery. Williams is a Cliff Harris award nominee for the top defensive player in Division II or III, and was a little AP All-American a year ago as well as a member of the AFCA Division II All-American team.
Jr., DB Al-Hajj Shabazz makes his first appearance on the all-conference team at cornerback, the shutdown corner made 27 solo tackles and 43 total stops, he picked off three-passes, and knocked away six more. Teams often looked to other side of the field, and avoided the area that Shabazz was patrolling.
The second team features the right side of the West Chester offensive line; Sr., T Adam Citko, and Jr., G James Colivas both making their first all-league appearances, as is Jr. WR Erick Brundidge, who led the Golden Rams with nine touchdown catches and was second in receptions with 38 and yards with 643. The Northeast High grad scored three times in the second game of the season at Gannon and twice at Cheyney.
West Chester led the PSAC with 38 sacks, with no one having more than five combined with solo and assists, the depth was recognized on the second-team All-PSAC roster on defense.
Sr., DE Eric Edwers had 4.5 sacks and his 12 tackles for a loss were second on the team. He recovered a fumble in a three-point win at Shippensburg. His 48 tackles placed Edwers fifth on the team, and included a season high seven against Bloomsburg. The Senior earning his first all-PSAC honors.
So., DL Andrew Cohen had a team leading 5 sacks, and his 10 tackles for a loss ranked third on the Golden Rams. The sophomore is making his first all-league team, and is the only West Chester underclassman voted to the all-league squads. Cohen recorded 29 tackles for the season.
Jr., OLB Mike Labor makes his initial appearance as an all-league selection. Labor led the Golden Rams with 13 tackles for a loss, his 77 tackles were second, and he added 4.5 sacks. His seven solo and 12 total tackles were a team high against Bloomsburg.
Sr., S Shawn Krautzel was once again named to the second team. He was third on the team with 59 tackles including10 against Bloomsburg and recovering a fumble. Krautzel had six tackles for loss and the senior is the quarterback of the defensive backfield.
Sr., Place-kicker Shawn Leo makes his first appearance on the All-PSAC team. His 11 made field goals tied for second in the conference, and led the PSAC East, he topped the league with 55 extra points made. The senior was second in the league for a kicker with 88 points, and ninth in scoring overall in the PSAC.
The Golden Rams season continues on Saturday in the first round of the NCAA Division II playoffs, when it hosts American International College (9-2) the Northeast-10 Conference champion.
