CAPE COD, Mass. - West Chester University senior Alli Aquila was named specialist of the week it was announced by that organization earlier this week.
Aquila has been a strong competitor for West Chester University over the last four years, continuing her consistent weekly performances during her senior campaign. At the Cornell Big Red Invitational, she led the Golden Rams on the vault by scoring a career-best 9.675 to place third in the event. She also registered a 9.225 on the uneven parallel bars.
West Chester will be in action this weekend at a quad meet in New Haven, Conn., with host Southern Connecticut State, Rhode Island College and Springfield College.
