SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - Lexi Kegerise knotched 14 kills in her final college volleyball appearance, but host Shippensburg defeated visiting West Chester, 3-0, in the quarterfinals of the PSAC Tournament Tuesday evening inside Heiges Field House. Shippensburg won by scores of 25-22, 25-15 and 25-23.
Allison Grammer posted seven kills and Kelly Martin six in support of Kegerise, who added 11 digs to her totals Tuesday. Dana Markol registered a team-high 22 digs defensively for the Golden Rams (18-17). Shippensburg advances to the PSAC semifinals on the weekend.
Mandy Flynn recorded 19 assists while Tori Hutchinson had 15. Shippensburg's Jill Edwards had 13 kills in the win.
