Showcase Information (PDF)
WEST CHESTER, Pa. - The West Chester University baseball program will host two instructional showcase camps this summer and fall on the WCU campus. These one day camps are open to any high school player and are designed to provide quality instruction and an evaluation. Each player’s evaluation will include their speed to first, time in 60 yards, radar gun throwing speeds for pitchers and positional players and pop time releases for catchers.
The WCU coaching staff will instruct and you can invite other college coaches/scouts to observe you. WCU Head Coach Mark Jackson will direct the camp and during his twenty one year career he has compiled an overall record of 697-294 and his .703 winning percentage is one of the best nationally. While the head coach at the University of Pittsburgh he led the Panthers to two Big East titles and at Point Park University directed the team to the NAIA World Series five times.
