INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - West Chester University's women's swimming team was honored for its academic excellence by the College Swim Coaches' Association of America recently in the organization's list of Scholar All-American Team Honors for the spring semester.
West Chester's lady swimmers accumulated a 3.24 team grade-point average during the spring semester while bringing home the school's fourth consecutive PSAC Championship and finishing fourth at the NCAA DIvision II Swimming & Diving Championships in March.
The CSCAA selects and honors scholar All-American teams twice a year, once after each semester (Fall/Winter and Spring). To earn CSCAA scholar All-American team honors. a swimming team must have a minimum of a 3.00 GPA (or converted on a 4.00 scale), for the semester.
