Johnson Puts Forth Another Stellar Effort At PSAC Championships

2010 PSAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships

WEST CHESTER, Pa.
– Junior track star Leighon Johnson placed third in both the 100m and 200m dashes while leading the West Chester men’s track & field team to a seventh-place finish at the 2010 PSAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships inside Farrell Stadium on a beautiful Saturday afternoon.

West Chester accumulated 49 points in the team standings. Johnson accounted for 30 of those points. Shippensburg narrowly walked away with the team title, amassing 163.5 points. East Stroudsburg was second with 159.5 points while Lock Haven was third with 103 points.

Johnson ran the 100m in 10.91 seconds and the 200m in 21.81 seconds. He ran the second leg of the 4x400m relay that placed seventh in 3 minutes, 18.24 seconds, and he also ran the second leg of the 4x100m that posted a 41.96 time.

Tyler Real placed third in the 110m hurdles with a time of 15.05 seconds. Matt Houser was sixth in the 400m run with a time of 48.53 seconds.
