Bookmark and Share

CAPE COD, Mass. – Senior forward Ralph Hegamin was named first team All-ECAC it was announced recently by the conference. It marked the first time in his college career that the forward was named to the All-ECAC squad.

Hegamin was one of only two PSAC players to appear in the top five in the PSAC in both scoring and rebounding. Hegs ranked fourth in the PSAC in scoring (17.4 ppg) and fourth in rebounding (9.4 rpg). Kutztown’s Ryan Washington was the only other player to match that feat this winter.

He was named to the first team All-PSAC East squad last month as well.

Hegamin posted 10 double-doubles this past season and finished his career at West Chester University with 25 altogether in his three years in the purple & gold. Hegs ends his college career ranked 21st in scoring on the school’s all-time list, sixth on the school’s all-time chart with 15.9 points per game and 12th in career rebounds (664). All of those numbers were generated in just three years after he transferred into the program from Wofford.

West Chester (16-11) finished sixth in the Eastern Division of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference this past winter.
