West Chester Tied For Fourth At Navy Spring Invite
Navy Spring Invitational - Round One
ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Steve Minnick sits in a tie for eighth and Doug Brooks is tied for 10th as West Chester University is fourth overall on the team leaderboard after round one of the Navy Spring Invitational Saturday afternoon.
West Chester shot a 305 in the first round. Host Navy leads with a two-over par 286. Columbia is second with a 296 and Bucknell third with a 304. St. Bonaventure and West Chester both have a 305.
Minnick shot a two-over par 73 on the first day while Brooks shot a 74. Griffith Basehore is tied for 37th with a 78 and Derek Glaser is 61st with an 80.
Day two of the Navy Spring Invitational is Sunday morning. Millersville, the only other Division II program in the field of 21 teams, is 13th with a 318.
