WEST CHESTER, Pa. – West Chester’s men’s tennis squad swept all three doubles matches and then all six singles matches to take a 9-0 decision from visiting Lincoln University in a non-league match at South Campus Courts Wednesday.
West Chester (7-9) has now won two straight, after beating Neumann University yesterday.
David Goldenberg, playing first singles for the first time this spring, defeated Michael Sangster, 6-1, 6-2 while Alan Day defeated Stephen Sangster, 6-0, 6-1 at second singles. Michael Sim, Jon Gordon and Michael Jendzurski all were 6-0, 6-0 winners at three, four and five singles. Pete Tsoflias was a 6-1, 6-3 winner at sixth singles.
