IUP Invitational - Round One
INDIANA, Pa. – West Chester University’s men’s golf squad shot an excellent round on Monday at the IUP Invitational that played a par-71 course of 6,542 yards.
Concord University shot a 284 to take the early lead on the team leaderboard. Indiana (Pa.) is second after day one with a 287. Matt Demo of Adelphi University is the individual leader with a two-under par 69 on day one.
West Chester shot a 308 as a team with three of four scores under 80. However, the highly competitive field has been a difficult challenge for the Golden Rams.
Mike Flatley leads West Chester’s contingent with a 73, which is tied for 17th overall. Griffith Basehore is tied for 34th with a 76, and Tyler Canfield is tied for 59th with a 79.
