West Chester Gymnasts Top Wilson, 177.025-170.300
READING, Pa. - Rachael Pearson and Alli Aquila finished first and second, respectively, in the all-around competition to lead West Chester University to a 177.025-170.300 non-league women's gymnastics victory over host Wilson College Sunday afternoon.
Pearson totaled a 35.525 in the all-around while Aquila recorded a 35.375. Pearson finished third on the balance beam (8.925) and floor exercise (9.15) to highlight her afternoon. Aquila won the uneven bars competition with an 8.875.
Melissa Voskian won the vault with a score of 9.300. Alison Mitrosky was second with a 9.275 while Felicia Massaro and Aquila tied for third with a 9.250.
On the balance beam, freshman Kaley LaFleur won with a score of 9.325.
On the bars, Laura D'Annunzio was second with an 8.8 and Megan Snyder was third with a 8.725.
