Men's Swimming Still Seventh At NCAAs

2010 NCAA Division II Men's Swimming & Diving Championships - Day Three Results

CANTON, Ohio
- West Chester University's men's swimming team earned three more All-America certificates on day three of the 2010 NCAA Division II Men's Swimming & Diving Championships being held at C.T. Branin Natatorium in Canton, Ohio, Friday night. 

West Chester remains in seventh place with 174 points at nationals. Defending champ Drury leads with 401 points while University of the Incarnate Word is second with 314 points and Wayne State third with 250 points.

Kenny McCormick, who has picked up two individual All-America citations as well as one relay, earned his second as a member of a relay with West Chester's fourth-place showing in the 800-yard freestyle relay. That foursome of McCormick, Brendan Fanslau, Tommy Rhoads and Max Bernardes finished in 6 minutes, 43.89 seconds. 

David Smoker placed eighth in the 200 butterfly, touching in 1:52.40 while Rhoads finished eighth in the 500 free with a time of 4:32.80.
