West Chester Men Pick Up Three More Certificates

2010 NCAA Division II Men's Swimming & Diving Championships - Day Two Results

CANTON, Ohio
– Adam Vance, Kenny McCormick and the 200-yard freestyle relay each picked up top-eight finishes on the second day of competition at the 2010 NCAA Division II Men’s Swimming & Diving Championships at the C.T. Branin Natatorium Thursday night.

West Chester sits in seventh place on the team leaderboard with 123 points. Drury leads with 264 points, followed by Incarnate Word with 199 points and Grand Valley State with 162 points.

McCormick picked up his second All-America slip in as many days with a time of 3:59.27 in the 400 Individual Medley. That placed him sixth overall, one day after placing fifth in the 200 IM.

West Chester’s 200 free relay team was sixth in the finals with a time of 1:22.45. Tommy Rhoads, Josh Pauley, Calvin Starosta and Brendan Fanslau each made up that All-America foursome.

Adam Vance placed third in the 1-meter diving competition at the championships. He scored a 485.15 overall.
