2010 PSAC Indoor Track & Field Championships - complete results
EDINBORO, Pa. - Brittany Foye finished fourth in the triple jump, helping West Chester University finish ninth in the 2010 PSAC Indoor Tack & Field Championships held inside Mike S. Zafirovski Sports & Recreation Dome Sunday.
West Chester amassed 19.75 points in the two-day weekend track & field meet. Shippensburg won the team title with 173.25 points. Slippery Rock was runner-up with 154.5 points. East Stroudsburg was third (80.75), Indiana (Pa.) fourth with 68 points, Kutztown fifth with 64, California (Pa.) sixth with 45.75 points, Lock Haven seventh (31) and Mansfield eighth (21). Host Edinboro was 1oth with 14 points, Clarion 11th (11), Cheyney 12th (9), Bloomsburg 13th (5) and Millersville 14th (4).
Foye’s jump of 37 feet, 10 3/4 inches hit an NCCA provisional mark and set a new school record. Dana Dietrich placed ninth in the event, jumping 36-1 1/2. Lindsey Ratasiewicz finished ninth in the 1600m with a time of 5 minutes, 17.37 seconds. Melinda Wentz was eighth in the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.50.
The Golden Rams 4x400m relay finished seventh, crossing the line at 4:03.43. That team consisted of Danielle Howell, Miriam Hughes, Sam Smarkola, and Wentz.
