Women's Cross Country Appears In Regional Rankings
USTFCCCA Division II Women's Cross Country Regional Rankings
WEST CHESTER, Pa. – West Chester University’s women’s cross country squad moved into the Division II Atlantic Regional rankings distributed by the USTFCCCA this week. The Golden Rams’ harriers were ranked ninth in this week’s initial poll of regional coaches.
It marks just the second time in the past six years that the Golden Rams have been ranked regionally and the first time since 2004. West Chester is coming off a spectacular showing at the Lock Haven Invitational where the Rams placed second overall as a team, finishing higher than five other PSAC schools in the team standings. WCU’s 76 points was bested only by Lock Haven’s 38.
West Chester will be back in action in the Dickinson-Long Invitational Saturday in Carlisle, Pa. Race time is 10:30 a.m.
