2009 PSAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships - Final Results
MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - West Chester’s women’s track & field squad finished 11th in the team standings on the final day of competition at the 2009 PSAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships held at Chryst Field at Biemesderfer Stadium on the campus of Millersville University Friday afternoon.
Slippery Rock claimed the team title with 179 points while Shippensburg was second with 162.5 points. Lock Haven placed third with 116 points. West Chester mustered 16 points during the weekend championships.
Indiana (Pa.) Maddy Outmann was selected as both the field athlete of the meet as well as the most outstanding athlete of the meet while Millersville’s Priscilla Jennings was voted the track athlete of the meet.
Three West Chester athletes were placewinners Saturday afternoon, highlighting the Golden Rams’ effort. Maria Baker placed fifth in the 100m hurdles with a time of 14.83 seconds while Katie Butler was eighth in 19.54 seconds.
Brittany Foye placed sixth in the triple jump with a leap of 36-6 ¾ inches.
