MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - West Chester University's Melinda Wentz is currently fourth after the first day of the heptathlon event on the opening day of the 2009 PSAC Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships Thursday afternoon at Chryst Field at Biemesderfer Stadium on the campus of Millersville University.
Wentz has 2,671 points - 80 out of third place and 200 out of third. She has a legitimate shot at third place on day two, Friday, if things continue to go well for the multi-event star.
The rest of the PSAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships will get under way in earnest on Friday afternoon in Millersville.
