KUTZTOWN, Pa.
- Sixth-ranked West Chester University tuned up for the PSAC Tournament with a 25-4 victory on the road over Kutztown in the women's lacrosse regular-season finale for both schools Wednesday afternoon at Keystone Field.

Jackie Baker scored a season-high eight goals for West Chester (13-2, 10-0 PSAC East), who finished its third straight undefeated season within league play. The Golden Rams have now won 49 consecutive league tilts dating back to 2006. Kutztown (2-14, 0-10) completed its first varsity season of women's lacrosse.

Kimberlee Hachen recorded five caused turnovers in the match.

The Golden Rams raced out to a 9-3 lead midway through the first half and led 16-3 at the break. Baker was the catalyst in the first 30 minutes, recording seven of her eight tallies before halftime. Claire Grimwood (4 goals, 1 assist) posted a hat trick in the second half.

The game also served as the "Lax 4 Life" contest hosted by Kutztown University, a league-wide effort to help raise awareness for teenage suicide prevention.

West Chester will play in the PSAC women's lacrosse semifinals on Friday.
