Women's Volleyball Falls to Shippensburg, 3-0
Shippensburg, Pa. – Michelle Powers recorded nine kills and three blocks but it wasn’t enough for a victory as the Golden Rams were swept at Shippensburg to conclude their 2009 regular season campaign.
West Chester (23-14, 7-5 PSAC East) had been on a six game winning streak before the loss.
Powers led Golden Rams in kills for the match. Lexi Kegerise added four kills of her own. Helen Fitzpatrick recorded four kills and 16 assists. Lisa Campbell notched 18 digs.
The Golden Rams next action comes in the PSAC Tournament beginning on Tuesday. Seeding will be determined following the conclusion of today’s PSAC action.
