Edinboro, Pa – Jess Joeseph Lyndsey Ratasiewicz both placed in the top 30 to lead the West Chester women’s cross country team to a tenth place finish at the PSAC Championship event in Edinboro on Saturday morning.
West Chester finished with an overall team score of 246. Shippensburg University took the event with 77 points. Bloomsburg (95 points) and Slippery Rock (106) rounded out the top three.
Joeseph placed 24th of 140 runners with a time of 24 minutes exactly. Ratasiewicz finished on her heels in 27th place, stopping the clock with a time of 24 minutes, 7.80 seconds.
Glenna Champion (24:58.80, 54th place), Kristina Koutsouros (25:03.80, 58th place), Rachel Wynn (26:20.60, 96th place), and Laura Carnes (26:27.30, 97th place) also placed in the top 100 for the Golden Rams.
The next event for the Golden Rams comes next Saturday at the NCAA East Regionals in Mansfield.
