West Chester Volleyball Tops Shepherd, 3-0

WEST CHESTER, Pa. - Kelly Martin posted nine kills and Ashley Focht and Lexi Kegerise each notched seven kills to lead West Chester to a 3-0 sweep over visiting Shepherd University in a non-league women's volleyball match inside Hollinger Field House Wednesday night.
West Chester (20-13) won its third straight match and seventh of its last eight to reach the 20-win plateau for the third consecutive year. Shepherd dropped to 16-11. The Golden Rams won by scores of 25-16, 25-21 and 25-20.
Helen Fitzpatrick registered 27 assists while Lisa Campbell recorded 16 digs and Nora Jingeleski 10.
West Chester travels to Kutztown on Saturday to face the Golden Bears in a critical PSAC Eastern Division showdown that has playoff implications.
