WEST CHESTER, Pa. – West Chester University’s athletics department will be conducting a “Hats For Kids” collection at Saturday’s football game against Bloomsburg University at 1 p.m. to benefit the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in its efforts to collect hats for children battling cancer.

All fans and the community are encouraged to bring any new or unused hats of all kinds that will be donated to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia to children who have lost their hair due to cancer treatments.  It is small gestures like these that can change the lives of so many children. A collection table will also be displayed for those individuals who would rather make a monetary contribution to the cause.
