Melissa LeNoir Atlantic 10 Rookie Of Week
PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Freshman forward Melissa LeNoir was named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week it was announced by the conference. It marks the third time this year that LeNoir has been recognized by the loop in its weekly awards.
LeNoir scored two goals in West Chester's conference opener against LaSalle last Friday. The Golden Rams (6-7, 1-0 A-10) defeated LaSalle, 4-2. LeNoir was also the conference's player of the week and rookie of the week in the first week of voting back in September.
LeNoir leads the Rams in scoring with nine goals and 21 points. She also ranks second in the conference in points, goals scored and game-winning goals (3) this fall.
West Chester returns home to Vonnie Gros Field on Friday afternoon for an Atlantic-10 contest with Saint Louis University at 3 p.m.
