WEST CHESTER, Pa. – Texas Woman’s University captured all four events en route to an easy 187.600-171.625 victory over host West Chester University Friday night at Sturzebecker Health Science Center.

TWU, the top-ranked women’s gymnastics program in Division II and ranked 37th overall across all three NCAA divisions by GymInfo, dominated the contest from the outset. West Chester fell to 0-3 in dual competitions and 2-12 overall with the loss.

West Chester was led by Stephanie Clark’s 9.25 on the vault. That was the team’s high score in any event on the evening. Clark registered a 35.000 in the all-around to lead all three Golden Rams in that category. Senior captain Colleen Sheehan posted a 34.425 and Jenna Ciatto a 34.050.

TWU head coach Frank Kudlac brought his squad to his alma mater. Kudlac is a 1978 graduate of West Chester University, who will be inducted into the WCU Athletics Hall of Fame tomorrow evening.

West Chester will host a quad meet on Sunday when TWU returns, along with Southern Connecticut State University and Bridgeport University at Sturzebecker HSC at 12 p.m.
