West Chester’s women’s swimming & diving squad won five events, including a sweep of the top two spots in the 100-yard butterfly and 400 individual medley, but Division I Ivy League power Penn was too much for the Golden Rams, 182-115, Friday night at Sheerr Pool.
Kristen Montello turned in three lifetime bests  to help visiting West Chester University score a 161-125 victory over regional rival Southern Connecticut State University on Saturday afternoon at the Hutchinson Natatorium.
West Chester's Kenny McCormick and Erin Fischer have been named this week's PSAC swimmers of the week. McCormick and Fischer both notched NCAA qualifying times in their first competitive swims of the new year last weekend.
Jackie Borkowski won two more individual events to lead West Chester University’s women’s swimming & diving team to an easy 218.5-137.5 victory over Johns Hopkins University at The College of New Jersey Saturday afternoon.
